Biography of Captain Frank Lindsay Dickson

Frank Lindsay Dickson was born on the 16th December 1872 in Roorkee, West Bengal, India, son of Frederick Lindsay Dickson, a medical doctor, and Charlotte Dickson, nee Kilpatrick.

Frank Lindsay Dickson graduated MB from the University in 1900. During the First World War, Frank Dickson was a Captain (appointed a Temporary Commission on 10th June 1918) in the Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial Forces) and served in France after being posted there in August 1915.

After the war, Frank Dickson returned and lived in Tordale, Shanklin, Isle of Wight until his death on the 22nd October 1929. See also University Story entry for Frank Dickson.
