Biography of Lieutenant Eric Rowley Orr

Eric Rowley Orr, brother to Robert Baird Rowley Orr, graduated BL from the University of Glasgow on 12th November 1921.

Eric started his studies at the University in 1911, taking Latin and German with a view to gaining an Arts degree. In 1914 he changed to Law, taking the Law of Scotland course. The First World War interrupted Eric's studies, as he joined the 7th Argyll And Sutherland Highlanders. Following the war in 1919 Eric came back to academia and graduated in Law in 1921.
