Remembering our People

Search the Roll of Honour (WWII)

This Role of Honour remembers the men and women from the University of Glasgow community who served and gave their lives during the Second World War. Initially commemorated on memorial tablets in 1948, their names now reside in the University Chapel, where an annual remembrance service is held each November 11th. This dataset adds depth to their stories, detailing their studies and contributions to the war effort, and we welcome descendants to further enrich these narratives.
