Siren at Garscadden
The Superintendent of the Marine Division of Glasgow Police wrote to the Court to ask for permission to erect an air raid siren on the pavilion at the University's playing fields at Garscadden. The siren originally located at Garscadden, and the building on which it was installed, had been damaged in the recent air raids on Clydeside.
