Soviet Students at the Union
Vladimir Pchelintsev and Nicolae Krasavchenko, who had organised fellow students in the defence of Leningrad and Moscow against German forces, were presented with red graduation gowns at a meeting in Glasgow University Union. The two men had earlier received honorary membership of the Scottish National Union of Students.
