Electrical Engineering (James Watt Chair)


A lectureship in Electrical Engineering was established in 1898. The James Watt Chair was founded in 1921 by the Institution of Engineers and Shipbuilders in Scotland, in commemoration of the centenary of the death of James Watt (1736-1819).
