Biography of Thomas Brisbane
Thomas Brisbane (d.1855) was a graduate who was present at the Battle of Waterloo.
His entry in Addison's Matriculations of the University of Glasgow (Glasgow, 1913) reads: THOMAS BRISBANE filius natu maximus Rev: Viri Thomae Pastoris Parochiae of Dunlop. MA 1808. MD 1812. Army Hospital Mate, 1812. Assistant-Surgeon, 1813. Placed on half-pay of the 58th Foot, 1830. Medal for Waterloo. Settled at Largs. Died in 1855.
