Biography of Alan Ernest Clapperton

Alan Ernest Clapperton graduated from the University BL in 1884 and LLD in 1915. He first matriculated at the University in 1879, aged 17, to study for a law degree. Clapperton’s brother, Lewis, was also a graduate from the University.

From 1888 to 1931, Clapperton served as the Secretary of Court.
