Probably the student from Virginia USA listed amongst others in an anonymous note of 1761 listing American medical students at a Scottish University. University not named but it had been assumed to be Edinburgh. Source. "American Medical Students in Scotland 1756 - 1765" by Rosemary Bachelor 2009.
