Joseph Amory

Biography of Joseph Amory

Joseph Amory, who matriculated at Glasgow University in 1793 and studied in the Medical Faculty in the session 1795-96 was the son of a merchant, Joseph Amory. He may have been linked to the Amory family of Basseterre, who owned the Clay Hill sugar plantation. He did not graduate.
