Biography of Anne Breen
Anne (Annie) Breen was a graduate of the University of Glasgow. She was born on 26th April 1910 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire. Her father, John Breen, was a Passenger Guard.
In 1927, Breen first matriculated into the University. She undertook an Arts course, studying French, Italian, and Geology in her first year. She also took classes in Logic and Metaphysics, and took English, Education, and Geography within her final year. Breen graduated M.A. on 27th June 1930.
After her graduation, Breen became a teacher, and is recorded as residing at 33 Woodburn Avenue, Airdrie. Breen died in 1931.
