Ken Ledingham
Biography of Ken Ledingham
Ken Ledingham is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Glasgow.
Ledingham graduated from the University in 1963 with a PhD in Nuclear Physics. He became a Lecturer in 1967 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 1977 and Reader in 1987. The University awarded him a DSc in 1995 and he was appointed to a personal professorship of Physics in 2001.
In 2001, Ledingham was appointed to the Sir William Penney Chair of Laser Nuclear Physics at the University of Strathclyde.
