Alice Grandison

Biography of Alice Grandison

Alice (Bunty) Grandison graduated BSc 1951 and went on to a distinguished career as Curator of Amphibians and Reptiles at the Natural History Museum in London from which role she retired in 1984.

Bunty died in March 2014.

A genus of caecilians (snake-like amphibians), Grandisonia, endemic to the Seychelles Islands, is named after her.
