Biography of John William Foster Anderson

John William Foster Anderson graduated MA from the University in 1937. He was born in Kuala Lumpur, then part of British Malaya, son of John Barr a representative of Scotland.

Anderson enrolled at the University in 1932 to study an Arts course. He took classes in Latin, French, Moral Philosophy, History, Constitutional Law, Roman Law and History, Geology, Forensic Medicine, Public International Law and German. He graduated on the 25th of June 1937. He continued to study Theology for a further three years, taking classes in Divinity, Hebrew, Ecclesiastical History, Biblical Criticism, Church History, Old and New Testament and Dogma until 1940.

Anderson became a Minister in Ballantrae, Girvan (1944-57).
