Biography of Robert Jackson Aiken

Robert Jackson Aiken enrolled at the University in the summer session of 1884, aged 19, to study Medicine.

He was born in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia, son of James, a merchant.

Over a period of three years and four terms, Aiken took classes in Botany, Anatomy, Chemistry Practical Anatomy, Senior Anatomy, Physiology Surgery, Materia Medica and Pathology.
