Biography of Malcolm Kenneth Macleod
Malcolm Kenneth Macleod graduated MA from the University in 1939. He was the second of the Macleod brothers born to Donald and Annie Macleod in Winnipeg.
Macleod enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1936 at the age of 20, attending classes in English, Moral Philosophy, Geology, Latin (Hons) and Greek (Hons). He was the recipient of the Education Authority Grant from 1936-39 and the Carnegie Trust Grant from 1937-39 as well as a class prize in Greek in 1937-8. Malcolm received his MA in November 1939, and like his older brother Donald and John, he went on to become a teacher in Dingwall.
