Duncan Blair
Biography of Duncan Blair
Blair's studies at the University were interupted by the First World War, when he served as a Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant in the RNVR. He graduated MB, ChB with honours in 1919 and became a Demonstrator and then Lecturer in Anatomy. He was Professor of Anatomy at King's College, University of London, from 1927 to 1935, during which time he also served as Dean of the Medical Faculty, and he was John Hunter Lecturer in Applied Anatomy at St George's Hospital Medical School from 1931 to 1935.
