Biography of William Service Aird
Captain William Service Aird of the RAMC was born in New Monkland and graduated MB ChB from the University in 1940. In 1939 he became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
