Biography of John Burns Roy
Captain John Burns Roy of the RAMC was born in Glasgow. He studied at the University, graduating MB, ChB in 1930. He was killed when the cargo ship SS Umvuma was torpedoed off the coast of Mauritius on 7 August 1943.
