John Albert Reyburn

Biography of John Albert Reyburn

John Albert Reyburn was born in Bridge of Weir and graduated BL from the University in 1939. He joined the Royal Navy at the beginning of the war and served aboard the destroyer HMS Exmoor.

Reyburn died with more than 100 members of the crew on 25 February 1941 when Exmoor was sunk off Lowestoft by a German motor torpedo boat.
