Alan Mackenzie
Biography of Alan Mackenzie
Lieutenant Alan Mackenzie was born in Crieff and graduated BSc from the University in 1936. He joined the Royal Navy and served aboard the minelayer HMS Welshman.
Mackenzie was killed on 1 February 1943 when Welshman was sunk by a German U-Boat off the coast of Libya.
