Robert Kemp Dunbar

Robert Kemp Dunbar was born in Aberdeen on the 29th February 1916, the son of Robert Hugh Dunbar, and of Williamina Dunbar, of Killermont, Bearsden, Dunbartonshire. He graduated BSc from the University in 1938.

He served with the Royal Corps of Signals and was killed on the 21st December 1944 in Belgium, aged 28. He is buried, alongside his driver, Frederick John Phipps, also aged 28, in the Tervuren Communal Cemetery in Belgium.
