Biography of John Macari Donnachie
John Macari Donnachie was a student at the University of Glasgow for one year. He was born on the 29th of October 1921, in Greenock. His father was Thomas Donnachie, a confectioner.
John first matriculated at the University in 1940 to study for a BSc. He enrolled to study Chemistry, Maths and Natural Philosophy. He later served with the air force in WWII and died on the 18th of September 1943 near Paignton, Devon. He is buried at Cambusnethan Cemetery, Scotland.
