Robert William Craig
Biography of Robert William Craig
Captain Robert William Craig of the Royal Artillery was born in Cardross. He attended Cargilfield and Fettes College and was an open scholar and captain of the shooting eight at the latter school. He graduated MA from the University in 1938 and was studying for an LLB there when war broke out.
Craig died on active service in Belgium on 29 May 1940.
