Biography of Ralph Morton Calder
Surgeon-Lieutenant Ralph Calder was born in Ayr and studied at the University, graduating MB, ChB in 1935. He was awarded an MD in 1941.
Calder was engaged in research in a London hospital in 1939 when he was called up to the RNVR. He was reported missing, presumed killed on active service on 19 August 1941.
