Allan James Burns
Biography of Allan James Burns
Allan James Burns was born in Glasgow and graduated from the University with a BSc in Agriculture in 1928. According to information published in the General Council Register of Members, 1939, he worked as an agriculturalist on the Ayer Tekah Estate in Asahan, one of the Malay Sultanates. He joined the Royal Netherlands Forces during the war and served as a Private.
Burns died on 7 July 1942 and is buried in Burma (now known as Myanmar).
