Mary Andrew
Biography of Mary Andrew
Mary Andrew (c 1902-2003) was the daughter of a Glasgow graduate, Dr James Andrew, a partner in the legal firm Mitchells Andrew (which became Mitchells Roberton). He was Dean of the Faculty of Procurators and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University in 1922.
In recognition of her late father's ties with the University, Miss Andrew made a generous bequest to the University. The money was allocated to advance priority capital projects.
