Biography of James Clason-Harvie of Brownlie

James Clason-Harvie of Brownlie (d c1912) lived in Edinburgh. His bequest, with those of Robert Marshall and others, was used in 1917 to found the Marshall Chair of Modern Romantic Languages, which became the Marshall Chair of French Language and Literature in 1966.
