Description
Daniel Baxter's Bursary was instituted by a settlement of Daniel Baxter (d1784), a Glasgow bookseller and bookbinder, in 1776. It was available to the son of a Glasgow Burgess of Gild brother intending to study at the University with the intention of becoming a minister.
