The Royal College of General Practitioners Prize was founded in 1975 by the West of Scotland Faculty of the Royal College of General Practitioners. It is awarded annually on the recommendation of the Norie-Miller Professor of General Practice to the most distinguished student(s) in the General Practice component of the curriculum.
