Thomson Experimental Prizes
Description
The Thomson Experimental Prizes were founded in 1869 by William Thomson (1824-1907) later created 1st Baron Kelvin. They are awarded on the recommendation of the Professor of Natural Philosophy to students who have shown their zeal and ability in experimental investigations in the physical laboratory.
