Sir Robert Grieve Dissertation Prizes
Description
The Sir Robert Grieve Dissertation Prizes were founded in 1976 from a gift to the University in 1964 by Mr James MacAulay and are named for Sir Robert Grieve (1910-1995), Professor of Town and Regional Planning, 1965 to 1974. They were originally awarded in the Department of Town and Regional Planning and since 1990 these prizes in Housing Studies. One prize is awarded for the best dissertation by a third year Diploma student and one prize is awarded for the best dissertation by an MPhil student.
