Cook and Macfarlan Testimonial Prize
Description
The Cook and Macfarlan Testimonial Prize was founded in 1847, with a similar prize in the University of St Andrews, in memory of Duncan Macfarlan, DD, Principal of the University from 1823 to 1858, and George Cook, DD, Professor of Moral Philosophy in the University of St Andrews. It is available to matriculated students in the Faculty of Divinity who are members of the Church of Scotland, and awarded annually to the most distinguished candidate in Greek, Moral Philosophy, Hebrew, Ecclesiastical History and Divinity.
