Description
The Muriel Thorne Hague Memorial Prize in Music was founded in 1960 at the bequest of Bernard Hague, James Watt Professor of Electrical Engineering 1946 to 1960, in memory of his wife. It is awarded annually by the Senate, on the recommendation of the Professor of Music, to a student who at the time of award in June, having attended courses in Music for two academic years, is judged to have achieved the greatest distinction in class work and in performance on a musical instrument or in singing.
