John Buchanan Bursaries
Description
The John Buchanan Bursaries were founded in 1930 by the bequest of John Buchanan. The two bursaries were open to matriculated male medical students with the surnames Buchanan or Robertson, or who were born in the counties of Renfrew, Bute or Dumbarton, but with a religious and language tests.
