William III Bursaries
Description
The William III bursaries were founded in 1695 by William III and II (1650–1702), Prince of Orange, who became King of England, Scotland and Ireland in 1689 and ruled jointly with his wife Mary II until her death in 1694.
The bursaries were funded by an annual sum of £70 and were intended to provide for bursars studying Theology.
