About this Site

The University of Glasgow Story website is funded by the Chancellor's Fund. The project began in March 2006 and was launched on Commemoration Day, 20 June 2007. We continue to build this authoritative resource on the people and events that have shaped our University since foundation in 1451.

Included are pages about:

• the lives of the University community in the First and Second World Wars
