Donald McLeod

Donald McLeod came to the University of Glasgow in 1911 to study for an arts degree and studied subjects such as Latin, Greek, History, Moral Philosophy and English. He was a good student, winning prizes in Geology and Scottish History and Literature.
Donald McLeod enlisted with the 4th Cameron Highlanders as a Sergeant and died at Neuve Chapelle on 14th March 1915, aged 24, and is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, in the Pas de Calais region of France.
