Description

The Mackay Smith Prizes were founded in 1882 by Robert Mackay Smith of Edinburgh, who was an undergraduate in Arts, 1815. They are awarded annually to the candidate most distinguished in Physics in the examination for the degree of Master of Arts or Bachelor of Science with honours, and the candidate most distinguished in Chemistry in the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Science with honours.
