Cameron Prize in History

Description

The Cameron Prize in History was founded in 1964 by a group of members of the University who joined the Sixth Battalion of the Cameron Highlanders when it was raised in 1914.

The prize is open to all undergraduate members of the University. The prize will be awarded for an essay of not more than 5,000 words on a subject that falls within the field of War in History and Human Society, the precise title to be approved by the Professor of Modern History. The prize will be advertised at the beginning of Whitsun Term and the essay is to be submitted by 1 October.
